ARMAPOLIS
Le Flying Fisherman est un collectif d’artistes formé à Abidjan.
Il a existé entre 2019 à 2021.
Il etait composé Jean Luc Gossé, Vincent Rauel et Paul Sika qui résidaient respectivement à Abidjan en Côte d’Ivoire, à Bordeaux en France et à Johannesburg en Afrique du Sud.
Les membres de l’équipe élaboraient un projet pluridisciplinaire nommé Armapolis.
L’un des membres a quitté le navire et le projet, qui devait être présenté dans une fondation Ivoirienne et au sein d’un lieu d’artistes réunionnais, n’a jamais pu voir le jour. L’ensemble des éléments réalisés est resté dans les cartons, soit une dizaine de toiles de grand format, prenant la poussière dans l’atelier.

The members of the team were developing a multidisciplinary project called Armapolis.
One of the members left the ship and the project, which was to be presented in an Ivorian foundation and within a Reunion artists’ venue, never saw the light of day. All the elements created remained in the boxes, around ten large format canvases, gathering dust in the workshop.
